1. Zero tolerance
Human trafficking, the exploitation of a minor, and coerced pimping have no place here. No circumstance justifies an exception.
We cooperate with the competent authorities and preserve the material an investigation needs when a report warrants it.
2. What we check
A date of birth is required to publish. It is reviewed by a moderator, then compared against an identity document when the profile asks to be verified.
Photographs are compared with each other and with those already on the site: the same set reappearing under several accounts is a signal we look into.
Listings published from one address for several different people receive closer review.
3. Signs to watch for
Someone who never answers for themselves, or whose exchanges are consistently handled by a third party.
Wording repeated word for word, answers that seem dictated, an inability to decide about a meeting alone.
Signs of physical coercion, visible surveillance, apparent confiscation of documents or phone.
Someone who appears markedly younger than the stated age.
4. Reporting
Reporting is open to everyone, with no account and no sign-up. Requiring an account would shut out exactly the people best placed to notice a situation: a relative, a neighbour, an outreach worker.
A report alleging a minor or coercion is handled as the highest priority: it goes to the front of the queue so a person sees it within minutes. The content is taken down on that person's decision — one accusation is not enough, or anyone could clear the directory by filing the same form.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your country's emergency services first.
5. If this is about you
If you are publishing here under someone's coercion, write to us. We remove the listing without asking for an explanation and without telling the account holder.
We can point you to a support organisation in your country. Doing this does not report you to any authority without your agreement.
